20L barrel Auction – Kempton Festival

This year Old Kempton Distillery is proudly sponsoring the Kempton Festival by donating one 20L barrel with 20L of spirit, valued at of over $2400! The barrel will be auctioned with all proceeds going to the Kempton Festival. The festival is setup and managed by the Green Ponds Progress Association, The Green Ponds Progress Association (GPPA) aims to work together with the people and organisations of Kempton and surrounding areas to raise the profile and opportunities within Kempton and the Green Ponds District. With a principle focus on the historical village of Kempton. Old Kempton Distillery are very proud to be sponsoring such a fantastic community organisation.

What
The successful bidder will become the owner of a Old Kempton Distillery 20L barrel and spirit. The owner will be invited to fill their barrel at Old Kempton Distillery, where it will be stored while the spirit matures into whisky. After roughly 2 ½ years the whisky will be decanted from the barrel and prepared to be bottled.(bottling, labelling, excise and shipping is not included and will need to paid at the owners expense).

How

Terms and Conditions
The barrel and contents remains the property of Old Kempton Distillery until payment has been received by the winning bidder. Barrel and spirit cannot be removed from the Old Kempton Distillery bond room during maturation and not before 2 years.

IMPORTANT – We have minimum bid of $1500. Any bids under the reserve will not be considered.
