New Make – the clear spirit that comes off the still. It’s usually 68% alcohol and has aromatic characteristics.
Come along and sample some of the industry’s newest whisky makers with their new make spirit. It is an awesome way to taste the DNA of a distillery. Aging the new make changes a whisky’s flavour. By trying it now, it will give you an insider’s guide to the character of the whisky and what it will grow into later.
